GF-6, What will this change mean for your Business?
In the first quarter of 2018, GF-6 is going to replace the current standard of GF-5 Oils. This new standard will result in better fuel economy and economy retention, improved emission system compatibility, better worldwide engine protection, and more.
There will be two separate specifications within GF-6. GF-6A will have the existing ILSAC viscosity grades, and GF-6B will be viscosity grades SAExW-16 and below.
